Appointment

The Appointment Menu in Comforter allows you to efficiently add and manage doctor appointments through a streamlined process. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the appointment system:


1. Adding a New Appointment:

  • Accessing the Add Appointment Page:

    Click the Add Appointment tab to open the Appointment - Add page. This is where you can input all necessary details for scheduling a doctor appointment.


  • Selecting Appointment Details:

    • Location Selection:

      First, select the location from the dropdown menu. Once a location is chosen, the department dropdown list will be populated with the relevant departments available at that location.

    • Department and Doctor Selection:

      After selecting the department, the doctor dropdown will be updated to show the available doctors in that department. Choose the desired doctor, and then select the appointment date. The available time slots for that day will be displayed. Enter the reason for the doctor visit in the provided field.


  • Entering Patient Information:

    You can add patient details by selecting either a new or existing patient. For existing patients, their details can be quickly retrieved by searching with their mobile number or MRN (Medical Record Number).


  • Confirmation of Appointment:

    After successfully adding an appointment, a confirmation message, Appointment Added, will be displayed. The patient will also receive a message with their token number, ensuring they have all the necessary information for their visit.


2. Managing Existing Appointments:

  • Viewing Appointments:

    All added appointments can be viewed in the Manage Appointment section. This allows you to keep track of upcoming and past appointments efficiently.


  • Updating Appointment Status:

    If a patient's doctor visit is completed or needs to be canceled, the admin can easily update the appointment status. The admin should select the appointment, click the edit option, and change the status to Completed or Cancelled. Confirm the update to reflect the current status of the appointment.
